The bible is not silent concerning business dealing as the church and society will have us believe. The profound truth is that the Bible is one of the best business textbooks around. If you get acquainted with the outlined principles within its pages, you will run a very successful godly business. I present here in this article five powerful principles from the bible for a successful business operation. 1. Diligence This is the constant and earnest effort to accomplish what you’ve undertaken. This is the habit of staying on course until your desired goals have been achieved. We find in the scriptures this statement, “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men” (Proverbs 22:29, KJV). If diligence is one of your guiding business principles, the Bible says, your success will draw the attention of Kings – people in high leadership positions. To be successful; this business principle in the bible encourages steady, earnest and energetic effort. With diligence you can become a national hero without applying for it.

1. Diligence

This is the constant and earnest effort to accomplish what you’ve undertaken.

The scripture says, “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich” (Proverbs 10:41, KJV). Here we see that poverty comes easily to those who folds their hands and would not put them to earnest productive activities. Those who are industrious and dedicated will become wealthy.

2. Fidelity

This is the act of devoting our time, energy and resources to achieve a predetermined cause or goal. It is the quality or state of being faithful. This principle entails accountability. Every successfully business demands a loyal, accountable person who can be trusted with the activities that would produce profitable results. We read, “And he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand: and he knew not aught he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured” (Genesis 39:6, KJV). To be faithful a person has to be committed, devoted and mindful. Fidelity separates those who perform their call of duty from those who are wholly faithfully committed no matter what.

3. Honesty

Truth is the umbrella that covers biblical business practices. The bible and business walk hand in hand. Bible principles direct the business practices and operation. It’s written, “But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee” (Deuteronomy 25:15, KJV). You cannot be a Christian business person that indulges in manipulation, deceit and cheating. Your business dealings according to the bible must be transparent.

4. Skills

Every successful business will require skillful workforce. What does the bible say concerning this? We read “God to the ant, thou sluggard: consider her ways and be wise” (Proverbs 6:6, KJV). Again the Bible says, “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophecy according to the proportion of faith” (Romans 12:6, KJV). The specialties of each personnel in a business will work together to promote the profitability of that enterprise. You need skilled people in today’s business to succeed.

5. Integrity

Sound moral values are a plus in a thriving business. What is more important in business than to have undivided, unbroken personnel that are loyal to the entity. We read, “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them” (Proverbs 11:3, KJV). The exercise of integrity demonstrates moral discipline in our business responsibilities.

The Lord is a God of principles; you cannot run a successful business without his guiding principles. Run your business the bible way and watch it blossoms. You cannot be a born again Christian that owns a business yet ignores God’s principles of true business success. It won’t work and would not last long, so seek his guiding principles in your endeavors.

To live the overcoming life is the reason that Jesus went to Calvary and paid for the price of our sins. He was buried and rose again for our justification. The provision for a victorious living is being made available to whosoever will through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I don’t know any sane and mindful person who loves to live in defeat, grant it, if others can do it for us, we will love to enjoy an undisturbed victorious lifestyle. The problem lies on the fact that we’re the ones to act positively in order to live the overcoming life. The Lord Jesus conquered all for us and in him, if we believe, we’re overcomers. Accept this position in faith and begin to act as an overcomer by the grace of God.

The overcoming life involves:

1. The power of domination over spiritual forces through the authority in Jesus name.

The Bible says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is over every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee would bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:9-10, KJV). We have dominion over Satan and his demonic host by the power and authority in Christ. This right has been given to every believer and is also effective by application in faith.

2. The gift of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in other tongues.

Jesus promised us the overcoming power after we’ve received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and then we’ll go on to be powerful witnesses of his resurrection. Denominations may argue about this experience yet modern statistic says that over six hundred million people have been filled and speak in other tongues, as the spirit gives utterance. This is God’s promise to you; don’t be robbed by dead denominational traditions and dogmas.

3. Reminding Satan that he must be subjected to you in Jesus Name.

We read, “Behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19, KJV). This promise is true today as it was in the Apostles era. Take this to heart, act upon it by faith in Jesus Name and watch miracles unfold.

4. Walking and Living a faith life through God’s word.

Nobody loses by practicing the word of God. There is life in the word; the word is spirit, quick and full of power that will bring the overcoming life into fruition.

The overcomer should have the following attitudes:
(a) Bold in the Lord
(b) Dwell on possibilities not on all the negatives around them
(c) Don’t back down or give up in their faith
(d) Constantly on the offensive rather than retreat and
(e) Don’t convert obstacles into defeat

The overcoming life is a reality in Jesus Christ and without partiality. Overcomers aren’t framed by their circumstances but prevail through them. Jesus overcame for us that we may live and enjoy the overcoming life in and thorough him. Overcoming challenges in life is now possible to whosoever can believe. One of the powerful ways to overcome problems in life is taking God by his word in faith.

The idea of restoration arises because something has affected, damaged the original nature, condition and value of a thing or person. The power of restoration is demonstrated in God’s transformation work in redeeming human persons to their former state of communion and fellowship with him.

The idea of restoration arises because something has affected, damaged the original nature, condition and value of a thing or person. The power of restoration is demonstrated in God’s transformation work in redeeming human persons to their former state of communion and fellowship with him. Restoration also affects something stolen or taken by force from the rightful owner. In this case Satan stole human heart away from pleasing God by offering a false sense of pleasure and wisdom.

The Greek interpretation and application of restoration comes in three different aspects:

• Apodidomi – this means to give back, which comes from the willing act on the part of the offender. See Luke 19:8

• Apokathistemi – (a) restoration to the former condition of health. See Matthew 12: 13 (b) divine restoration of Israel including the renewal of the covenant broken by them. See Mark 9:12 and Acts 1:6. (c) Deals with the giving or bringing a person back into fellowship or relationship. See Hebrew 13:19

• Katatizo – This speaks of mending and furnishing completely. The power of restoration will rescue those who have lost their spiritual heritage and those overtaken in trespasses. See Galatians 6:1

For the power of restoration to be active in your life, you’ve to first desire to change and second be willing to cooperate with the process. If you’ve lost fellowship with the Lord for whatever reason, you can be restored back to your former estate.

Here are four applicable effects:

1. The Cankerworm Effect

This is an eating sore, that’s spreading corruption and producing deadness. See 2 Timothy 2: 17. Errors in the church from those who pretend to give true spiritual food but produce spiritual gangrene (deadness). When the power of restoration is allowed its course you can be totally restored and become pleasing unto the Lord. The Bible is filled with people who were so out of touch with God, yet by his grace and mercy he restored them back to meaningful service for his glory.

2. The Palmerworm Effect

This affects the leaves of the fruit producing trees. By spiritual application, this is an attack by Satan on a believer who is a great soul winner to steal from them that which made their witness for Christ fruitful and powerful. The power of restoration can bring about a dynamic turn around by the working of the Holy Spirit in that person’s life.

3. The Locust Effect

They come in a great number at once and feed on the young life. This represents the devil’s attack on you at your weak state with overwhelming problems one after the other. The Lord will give you strength even in your weakest moment if you turn to him earnestly in prayer.

4. The Caterpillar Effect

A worm like larva of butterfly or moth that feeds in the inside of its victim, this is an attack by Satan on our emotions, outwardly we look good but inwardly we are eaten up by things, issues, wrongs and a host of others. The power of restoration has no limits, it gets to the very fabric of our being and rekindles the fire of service to the Lord and those around us.

Your lost must have taken years but because of the power of restoration that comes from Jesus Christ, the change can be experienced immediately. When we’re restored to our rightful standing in the Lord, the blessing comes upon us as a mighty outpouring of his spirit.

The power of restoration is in effect and can be actualized by faith in the Lord Jesus and obedience to his word. In case you desire more life changing articles, see the link below.

In order to have proper perspective touching suffering, lets briefly discuss our attitude, response and action during suffering and the resulting benefits.

We read in the scriptures, “For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake” (Philippians 1:29, KJV). As a committed Christian, be prepared in your mind that you may be faced with suffering, but remember that the Lord suffered for you first. Never let suffering, whatever it is to steal the joy and hope of your salvation.

The pages of history are filled with record of people who endured great suffering for a particularly cause and some as outright wickedness of others. One such living legend in our day worthy of mention is the former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela. After so many years in prison, followed with torture, humiliation in isolation, he braved it all and brought down the spirit and wickedness of apartheid.

The world watched with total dismay when he came out of prison unflinched in his stand and principles. He wouldn’t compromise even unto his death until the institution of apartheid was destroyed. Are your values, beliefs and principles worthy to suffer for? When you’re tried at the firing squad of persecution for your faith in Christ, do you have the backbone to stand?

Five Powerful Steps During Suffering.

1. Humility in Prayer.

Humility precedes honor and after the suffering, there’s promotion and experience. There is a need to humble yourself in season of prayer if you’re faced with a prolong suffering. Prayer will provide the power and internal strength to emerge victorious out of your suffering.

2. Cast all the issues and problems to the Lord.

Don’t weigh down yourself with grieving in your suffering; turn them over in faith into the hands of Jesus Christ, the burden bearer. It’s written, “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved” (Genesis 55:22, KJV). After the suffering in most cases, you’ll come to know that the Lord is faithful.

3. Be in quite spirit and watch out with carefulness.

The Lord never cease to speak to his children, the problem is that sometimes anxiety take over our spirit and we lost the ability to hear. Learn to be still as hard as that may seem and you’ll be surprised to hear the comforting voice of the Holy Ghost.

4. Recognize that the devil is always alert.

Satan stands to try gaining advantage in our time of suffering. He will put all sorts of ideas into our mind to manipulate the situation. Be diligent in your watchfulness.

5. Resist Satan in faith without giving up an inch.

The Bible informs us to be in offensive against Satan and he will take to his heels. What had been your attitude or response in suffering? Did you feel rejected, blamed God or act like nobody understood or cared? How about after the suffering, what lessons were learned? You’ve no reason to faint during the suffering; the Lord will make a way of escape. Remember that you’re kept by the power of God through faith. See 1 Peter 1: 5-7

After the suffering, in most cases, there’s character improvement, there’s perfection, stability and settlement. The Lord has made provisions to sustain us in all our sufferings; we must therefore rest upon his promises.

The born again experience transforms us into the image of Christ through his Spirit. There’s a profound statement made in the scriptures worthy of close attention.
1. The well-being (prosperity) of the unbelievers.

This tends to challenge our living by faith as we witness those who live wickedly day after day prosper in the material aspects of life. There is the need to have proper understanding of what the scripture says on this regards so as to avoid being discouraged. See Psalms 73:1-20.

When we focus too much attention on how well an unbeliever seems to be doing materially, we can lose hold on eternity without knowing and our faith in God will be weakened. Study God’s word closely to gain proper perspective on the prosperity of those who snubs at God.

2. When hardship confronts us like other.

Let’s get one thing clear, the natural life is natural and the spiritual life is absolutely lived out by faith. Somehow along the line we’ve been made to believe that as a Christian who worship s God and live by faith, hardship shouldn’t come our way. To think that way is to make God’s word a lie, that may be a general notion held by the society, but it isn’t the word of God. See John 15:17-21.

We don’t suffer as people who are rejected. We don’t suffer as those who are abandoned, but the Bible says, “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf” (1 Peter 4:16, KJV). Our Father Abraham endured hardship (Hebrew 6:15), Apostle Paul endured hardship and we must arm ourselves with the same mind when hardships come our way. See 2 Timothy 2:2-4

3. When we’re combating societal and personal influences.

Nobody is an inland, like it or not, directly and indirectly, we’re subject to the cultural and personal influences around us. This is the challenge of living by faith and also on opportunity to demonstrate publicly what faith in God can overcome. The important thing for you to do is continue living in faith bearing in mind that others are watching. Just because a practice is popular among our friends or in the society we live, doesn’t mean it’s scripturally permissible or right.

4. False prophets, prophetess and prophecies in and out of the church.

It’s a principal challenge to living by faith. This spirit is so rampant, that you can get caught up in the midst of this falsehood if you’re not rich in the word of God. There is nothing surprising; there have always been false messengers throughout the Bible.

We’re reminded that false prophets shall arise and carry out false signs and wonders that have the ability to pull many away from their faith in God. The foregoing gives us the glance of the challenges of living by faith. Check back on the link below for more.

One of the keys in supernatural breakthrough is to be united in purpose. Division is a cancer at the very root of success or progress. The scripture says, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” (Amos 3:3, KJV). Here, the obvious answer is no, walking together calls for unity of purpose. This article seeks to enshrine the benefit of having a common front in life’s pursuits with the chosen principal players.

The authority of a believer is something that is sometimes taken for granted because of not fully understanding the power of its application. Jesus said, “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father which is in heaven” (Matthew 18:19, KJV). Believers that are united in purpose can overthrow every satanic obstacle that may face them.

Its’ rather shocking that with such a profound statement from the mouth of our Savior, we don’t strive by all means to talk in the unity of purpose. The validity and power of God’s word is unquestionable but is limited by:

• Division
• Disagreement
• Unbelief
• Faithlessness
• Inaction

Heaven stand to honor and back us up when we’re united in purpose trusting the Lord by faith in our endeavors. There is tumult in the demonic realm when the children of God stand heart to heart in unity of purpose.

To counteract this, Satan instills among us the spirit of disunity, making it hard for us to get our ship off the shore. If we strive to walk in unity, here are profound benefits.

1. Many of the unanswered prayers will be activated by faith
2. There will be peace and a sense of belonging that shall overshadow the body of Christ.
3. The Lord will rain down commanded blessings that nothing could stop the flow. See Psalms 133:1-3
4. God’s spirit will move freely among us distributing to the needs of the body.

What part do you play to strengthen the ground of unity? This is expressed by the “Four P’s”:
• Persistence in doctrine
• Persistence in fellowship
• Persistence in sharing and caring
• Persistence in prayers

Each member of the original one hundred and twenty were said to exhibit these characteristics. They were in one accord and in one place. This isn’t easy to obtain but once we understand the power of being united in purpose, we’ll persevere to achieve it.

Selfishness is swallowed up in unity. With unity of purpose, the tendency borders on seeking for the common good of the whole instead of the part. One more element that enhances the ability to be united in purpose is sacrifice, the willingness to give up your convenience for the cause of the united purpose.

When we come together with one purpose and stake our claims on it, Satan cannot stand in our way. Shy away from division and embrace unity in your Christian walk by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Success always lives clues if you search carefully for it. One such clue is to stand your ground in your life’s goals, beliefs or pursuits. If God means everything he says and stands ready to perform his promises to us, as believers in Jesus Christ, why don’t we maintain a firm stand until those needs are met? Much of it I suppose has to do with the frailty of the human nature. Throughout the scriptures, it’s very clear that God never fail to execute his promise which he had made, that notwithstanding, we find it hard still to trust him. There are certain elements that will lend support to unflinching attitude towards divine provisions. As I look closely to the unending needs of humanity and weigh them with God’s provision, it’s amazing that all human needs cannot even put a dent in his abundant resources. The Bible even says, that “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue” (2 Peter 1:3, KJV). 1.

1. Revealed knowledge of who Jesus is.

This is the question the Lord Jesus put to his chosen disciples. “He saith unto them, but whom say ye that I am? (Matthew 16:15, KJV). The answer to this can only come by revelation and once you’ve the answer, you can stand your ground at the face of life’s challenges. Thousands are lost in religion and don’t know nor have relation with Jesus Christ.

2. Believing and having faith in God’s word.

The faith that you exercise on God’s words is what moves him to action. Many people confess that they believe God but have no corresponding action to back up their statement. You cannot stand your ground if you’re unsettled in your faith. It’s written “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think he shall receive any thing of the Lord” (James 1:6-7, KJV). It’s clear here that much is lost if you don’t stand your ground and trust the Lord.

3. Declaration

Oftentimes there’s the fear of not speaking out what we believe and that which is our portion in Jesus Christ. When you know whom you are in him, you can stand your ground and declare in faith your right of inheritance.

One thing is sure; the Lord has called us to bear his reputation and goodness to humanity. He isn’t glorified when you’re not occupying the reign of power entrusted to you; power to heal the sick, the power to wage war against spiritual forces and rescue the perishing from sin for his glory.

Your expectation should be based absolutely on what God says, not on your feelings, understanding neither on thinking. The ground of your defense is the word of God. The authority of your claim is the word of God. The right of expectation is his promises. There is no need to fear, dismayed or be discouraged, Jesus is a very present help in all your troubles.

If you stand your ground by faith, the Lord’s goodness will become evidence in your daily life and pursuits. The Lord is bound by what he had promised; he cannot break his covenant nor alter the words that has proceeded out of his mouth.
